Workshop [Open Level] - 'Meringue' - Let them eat cake: the lightness of contact improvisation - Brad Stoller

Exploring the quality of the fluff that Nancy Stark Smith so loved - we will discover the lightness that makes contact energetic and fun. We will whip the cells of the soma into a spacious light topping so that our dance rides and floats. Like any good pie or cake the quality of rich weight is highlighted by the contrast. Our dance becomes balanced and blended rather than single textured, or only one flavor. Like all contact classes, attention to classic principles of sharing a center of gravity and listening to our partners will be emphasized and re enforced.
