Zoe is a dancer with a background in modern / contemporary / improvisation. Before university, Zoe spent 5 months in the International Dance Journey Program with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, and then trained in Madrid, Spain at danza180 while teaching local dance and creative movement. At University of Virginia, she performed and choreographed in the dance program, performed at and submitted work to ACDA regional conferences, received grants to attend workshops internationally, and completed screendance work. Her interests include improvisation and kinesthetic awareness/forms of embodied knowledge. She completed her undergraduate studies at UVA and is currently attending UVA School of Medicine. She has been dancing with Cumulus since 2022 and is excited to continue engaging with this wonderful community!
